Family & Friends:

I am pleased to announce my latest & best win yet for my documentary film "My Slave Sister Myself".  I recently won the "Best Documentary" award for the Female Eye Film Festival held in Toronto, Canada. To date, this is my film's 5th win. It's been shown at numerous film festivals both nationally and internationally. I also won awards for my first documentary film, "Lest We Forget" including the 2007 Martha's Vineyard HBO Film Festival.

I am available for film screenings, speaking engagements and for scheduling the Lest We Forget Traveling Slavery museum.
or feel free to call me  (215) 205-4324.

Check out the blog below to learn more about my win and view a trailer of the hip-hop video that follows my documentary. Young people love it, and its a great way to introduce them to the subject of slavery. The full video can be purchased on this website.  Thanks Gwen Raggs

The Lest We Forget Traveling Slavery Museum includes a cross-section of authentic slave relics that include shackles, manacles, branding irons and other forms of iron restraints used on African human beings. These objects enable viewers to understand just how different coming to America was for enslaved Africans who were captured and held in bondage for hundreds of years. Also included in exhibit are several Jim Crow objects that purposely created negative misconceptions of Blacks and portrayed them  as big-lipped, buffoonish caricatures. The full day exhibit and presentation also includes a screening of one of our riveting, award-winning documentary films. The program ends with Q&A and stimulating dialogue.

Lest We Forget Productions has toured the country and Caribbean, exhibiting at grammar & high schools, universities, churches and other major venues. We have received numerous awards for our riveting displays and educational films garnering accolades and several repeat invitations. If you're interested in scheduling an exhibit contact us for a fee quote.

Dear Family & Friends:

My granddaughter Noelle Leigh Scott continues to astound her coaches and others with her amazing gymnastic abilities. Noelle was just 4 years old when I noticed that she had a natural talent as I watched her flip around my kitchen floor. I encouraged her Mom, my daughter Trina Ragsdale Scott to enroll her in gymnastics. Now at the age of 8, Noelle is training at the renowned Cherry Hill Gymnastics Club. As a Level 8 gymnast she is performing moves usually reserved for older gymnasts and presently holds the title of 2010 New Jersey State Champion. Both the entire Ragsdale and Scott families and especially her twin brother Nyle encourage our baby girl to soar, fly and reach for the sky. The 2016 Summer Olympics scheduled to be held in Chicago, Illinois are just a few years away, God willing Noelle will be there!  Stay Tuned…..
